š Amazon Still a Small Sliver of the Grocery Market in the U.S.
Weāve published occasional reports about Amazonās efforts to gain a bigger foothold in the grocery space.
But according to the latest market share data (after Q1 2025), Amazon (and Amazon-owned Whole Foods) is a drop in the bucket compared to Walmart and others.
Here are all the brands in the United States with at least 1% of the grocery market:

Kroger: 8.6%
Costco: 8.5%
Albertsons: 5.0%
Publix: 4.1%
