🚨 Reminder: Carbon Monoxide Detectors Can Save Your Life
Clark has long advocated for bringing a carbon monoxide detector when you travel.
He does so himself. And bought his for just $10. Clark calls it a “lifesaver.”
If you think that’s overly cautious, unfortunately, there have been some recent incidents that drive home the point.
A former MLB player’s son died in March in Costa Rica from carbon monoxide poisoning. And one month before, three American women died from the same in a Belize hotel. In 2023, NBC reported that 19 Americans died in international Airbnb locations in the previous decade.
Clark puts his on his dresser in every hotel room when he travels. He found one that runs on two AAA batteries and fits in the palm of his hand.
Clark packs everything into a single bag when he travels and doesn’t check luggage. And that includes his carbon monoxide detector. So clearly it’s possible to make room for it in your luggage when you travel. And it could save your life.
