Almost 82 million Americans are traveling 50+ miles this week for Thanksgiving, with about 9 in 10 doing so by car.
That’s a lot of traffic. It’s enough to get you thinking about auto insurance, which has gone up a dastardly 55% since February 2020.
If you were paying $150 per month for your auto insurance premiums before, you’re paying something like $233 now.
Did you know that you may be able to cut dollars off your monthly premium, though, just by making a few adjustments? Some possibilities:
Increase your deductible. Aim for at least $1,000.
Comparison shop for coverage. See if a competitor will give it to you for less.
