That’s a lot of traffic. It’s enough to get you thinking about auto insurance, which has gone up a dastardly 55% since February 2020.

If you were paying $150 per month for your auto insurance premiums before, you’re paying something like $233 now.

Did you know that you may be able to cut dollars off your monthly premium, though, just by making a few adjustments? Some possibilities:

  • Increase your deductible. Aim for at least $1,000.

  • Comparison shop for coverage. See if a competitor will give it to you for less.

  • Ask about discounts. There are tons, including paying your policy in full each cycle, setting up automatic payments and opting for paper billing.
