💘 How To Celebrate Valentine’s Day Clark’s Way (Saving Money)

Want to make your loved one feel special on Valentine’s Day without breaking the bank?

  1. Buy flowers before Valentine’s Day. Clark buys his wife Lane a bouquet of roses two weeks before Feb. 14.

  2. Buy flowers from supermarkets, nurseries or a warehouse club (see our article in this newsletter). DON’T buy flowers from a big company such as 1-800-FLOWERS if you want the cheapest prices.

  3. Buy chocolates the day after Valentine’s Day. Hello mega-sales!

  4. Eat a Valentine’s Day meal on Feb. 13, Feb. 15 or another day close to Feb. 14. Avoid the crowds, higher prices and maybe even the need for a reservation.

If you want to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner – especially since it falls on a Saturday this year – have you considered Waffle House?

For the 18th year, Waffle House is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner at 218 locations in 22 states.

You must make reservations. But it’s “a budget-friendly alternative to traditional Valentine’s dining at a time when consumers remain price-conscious amid higher food and restaurant costs,” FOX reported.

You’ll get treated to white tablecloths, “special touches,” and of course, your choice of the company’s finest waffles, hashbrowns and eggs (normal menu applies).
