😎 How To Save on End-of-Year Eye Care Purchases
Three out of four American adults wear glasses or contacts. That’s about 200 million people.
If your workplace benefits provide eye care, you may feel obligated to use your benefits before the end of the year.
If so, Clark warns, beware of the “cartel” that controls a lot of the eye business in the United States.
“They charge as much as 10 to 20 times what you pay if you go free market,” Clark says. “And that’s why someone can walk into Costco, as an example, and buy contact lenses.
“Just pay in cash as a Costco member for far less than what it is with a prescription plan available through your employer buying at one of the cartel locations.”
