💰️ Forget Black Friday: The Best Deals Are Here Now

October is the new November for Christmas shopping and holiday deals, Clark says.

“You should get your act together now to start doing your Christmas shopping,” Clark says. “The early bird’s gonna get the worm.”

Some of the specific items with available discounts include:

  • TVs: “I just saw a sale for a 65-inch TV for $299,” Clark says.

  • Computers: Windows, Macs, Chromebooks

  • Clothing: Better deals than normal due to competition from Shein

  • Christmas: Frontloading sales more than usual

Why is this October different?

Retailers use back-to-school sales as a measuring stick, Clark says. And that milestone in the calendar yielded poor results this year.

That’s causing retailers to get nervous about their Christmas inventory, which they often buy a year in advance, Clark says.

Plus, Amazon is staging the year’s second set of Prime Days on Oct. 10-11. Expect a lot of other retailers to launch competing sales.
