🇺🇸 The State of American Finances and Sentiment
In politics, the president gives the State of the Union. The financial equivalent is perhaps a much lesser known report: the Federal Reserve Board’s Survey of Household Economics and Decisionmaking.
It’s nonetheless interesting. And we recently peeked at the 2024 edition.
The report included a frightening trend – 7% of homeowners are now eschewing homeowners insurance, mostly because they can’t afford it.
