š³ļø Time To Reshop Your Cruise Cabins
You can reshop your hotel and your car rental the week of your trip. Often youāll find a cheaper price.
But did you know you can reshop your cruise cabin as well?
Clark booked a summer Caribbean cruise as a high school graduation present for his son Grant. Recently he got an interesting marketing email with what looked like a great deal.
Upon investigating, he found that cruise prices in general have fallen. The full-force ārevenge travelā demand has lessened. Clark also saw something else interesting ā a lowest-price guarantee.
He looked up the same cabin on the same ship on the dates heād previously booked and found a much lower rate. So he contacted the cruise line and asked for the difference.
They offered him a cruise credit or to refund the difference.
āI got actual money back -- 22% of the cost of the cruise back,ā Clark says. āThat was good stuff.ā
So if youāve previously booked a cruise for this summer or later, re-check the rates. If the cruise line offers a lowest-price guarantee, you could get a major refund.
