Stranger danger: If you use apps like FaceTime or WhatsApp for calls, your IP address could be shared with the person you’re talking to. Want to keep your IP private? Open the app, hit Settings, find Privacy or Connection, and switch off Peer-to-peer. Your calls might not be as clear, but your IP will stay hidden. 💹 AI Darling Nvidia Produces Sterling Revenue Numbers
Nvidia continues to dominate financial headlines as the lead public stock considered part of the AI (artificial intelligence) trade.
The chip and computing company grew revenues 114% in 2024 but only added 20% to its headcount (6,400 new employees).
It’s not a new trend. Nvidia has grown revenue 385% since 2022 and increased its rank-and-file by just 60%.
The company employs about 36,000 people. With about $130 billion in revenue, it makes an eye-popping $3.6 million per employee(!).
It towers over the biggest tech companies in that regard – but with a net income of $2 million per employee, its profits are even larger on a per-employee basis.
Look at some of the highest revenue per employee numbers from 2022:
Nvidia: $3.6 million
Apple: $2.4 million
Meta: $2.2 million
Alphabet: $1.9 million
Broadcom: $1.5 million
Microsoft: $1.1 million
Tesla: $777,000
Amazon: $410,000
Overall, Nvidia’s stock price appreciated more than 1,800% in the last five years.
